DAVE TOTH
FIELD AMBASSADOR
Dave Toth is proud to have just retired from Scoreboards, Etc. a successful company that he founded nearly 25 years ago. Having served on the FCA board for a number of years now, he is excited at all the new prospects as well as fostering many relationships started through his years of working with high school and college sports programs.
Growing up in Rochester, NY, Dave enjoyed a wonderful upbringing. As a youth, he played a great deal of hockey and baseball and attended Brighton High School where he participated in soccer, hockey and wrestling.
Dave attended Ashland College on a wrestling scholarship where he was a two-time all-American graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business. After receiving his Master’s in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1989, Dave spent time pastoring and has been active in ministries like Athletes in Action and Young Life.
Dave’s love for sports ministries started after a dynamic spiritual conversion in college. Relationships that started during those years led to opportunities that paved the way for a future with FCA. Recently, Dave has been involved in starting an FCA wrestling team specifically for coaches. “My hope is that the Lord will pour out His grace on that team so that our ministry can really be TO & THROUGH A COACH. The potential of this team of coaches definitely fires me up!” he says.
Dave is married to his wife Cindy and they live near Rochester, NY. Dave and Cindy are thankful for each of their adult children, their spouses and their grandchildren. He looks forward to retirement and staying in shape through bike riding and the occasional round of golf.
