Jon Brown joined FCA in January of 2023 as the Northwest Vermont Area Director. He feels like his whole life has led up to this moment.

"I’ve lived in Vermont for over 26 years in total since coming to Norwich University as a student. I love working with youth and have been involved with youth ministry, coaching basketball and soccer, and officiating volleyball and men’s lacrosse for years. I know the influence a coach can have on their team. I get to provide tools and resources to help them disciple their teams into a growing relationship with Jesus. How cool is that? I’m so glad to be called to this! I have to keep pinching myself!!”

Jon grew up the child of an Air Force member, has lived all over the Southern US and even spent a couple of years in the UK. He played sports from a very young age and played tennis in college. Jon coached his son’s teams as they grew up and began officiating lacrosse and volleyball along the way. He feels this has really prepared him for this new role of coming alongside coaches and athletes.

Jon lives in Westford with his bride of 30 years, Tammy. They have raised four sons and recently became grandparents! Tammy and Jon attend Trinity Presbyterian Church in Saint Albans, Vermont.
